# Dependency Freeze and Parallel Authorship Policy

## Parallel drafting

All twelve nodes may be drafted concurrently from the frozen foundational bundle. Parallel drafting is permitted because it accelerates independent exposition; it does not permit a downstream paper to freeze before its incoming dependencies.

## Freeze gate

A node freezes only when:

1. its source manifest and configuration digest exist;
2. every dependency has a versioned source archive and PDF hash;
3. the node's imported claim IDs match those frozen artifacts;
4. an impact scan confirms that no dependency correction changes the node's thesis, methods, or release boundary;
5. its own claims, controls, null handling, falsifiers, and release boundary are complete;
6. the PDF renders and the source archive reproduces.

## Correction

A corrected dependency never silently rewrites downstream papers. The DAG emits an impact record, the affected node reopens, and a new version is built. Superseded PDFs remain in lineage.
